Here are my photos of my Never Ending card which I am teaching in my classes this month. It is a really fun card to create and will be a huge hit with children and adults alike! I still have places available for the Thursday night class June 24 at 7.30pm. Cost is $15. If you would like to come and join in the fun email me at firstname.lastname@example.org to book your place.
The idea behind the card is that you continualy open each section and it keeps on going and going, there is no end to it!
This version I have stamped images and used some papers but I am off on Scrapbooking Retreat today for the WHOLE weekend and am “planning” to try a double sided paper version.
If my plans come to fruitition I’ll post the result on here! Main aim of the weekend is to start scrapbooking my South Africa trip from last year – better late than never!!!!
See you next week after my indulgent weekend away!!!!!!
Forgot to tell you the stamp sets I used! they were Time to Party, Party Hearty,Big Bold Birthday and Occasionally.
Colours are all from the Bold Brights Family stamped on Whisper White card. DSP is Washington Apple.
Now I can get back to my packing!!!
Demonstrating this layout to workshop guests and then having them create it, is one of my favourite workshop projects. It is such a fun card layout to create. New customers to Stampin’Up! really enjoy making one of these cards and the possibilities to go further with this layout are unlimited. I love going through the Stampin’Up! Idea Book & Catalogue to find sets I can use for this card layout. Using the spiral punch to create the photo negative look was a very inspired idea by a very clever stamper somewhere out there! In the past I have used the stamp sets Wild About You, Bugs and Kisses and UpsyDaisy to name a few.
One of my customers did some terrific Christmas cards using her family photos instead of the stamped images – they looked fabulous!
The stamp sets I’ve used here are Fox & Friends for the top card, Pocket Silhouettes for the middle card and All a Flutter for the lower card.
What other sets can you come up with to use in this layout?
Here are a couple of cards I whisked up recently when
I was playing with my new Stampin’Up! Big Shot using
the two exclusive Stampin’Up! Textured Impressions
embossing folders. the card on the right uses the Manhattan Flower folder and the one below uses Perfect Polka Dots.
They are so effective in creating a terrific looking card! You could easily whip up a batch of great cards to give someone as a lovely gift that would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for looking!
