Hi Everyone and thanks for stopping by! I’m now back from a wonderful time away in Merimbula and feeling rested ready for the Christmas mayhem!
Here is my Christmas card I’m using this year for family and friends. My downline received this card as a swap at our November Stampin’Up! Regionals.
One of my projects while away on holiday was to make all my Christmas cards for this year and I did accomplish that! I made 25 of these and 25 of another design. Don’t think I have a spare of it to photograph and show you, silly me!
This card uses the Dasher stamp, I’ve had a bit of a love affair with it this year and used it quite a few times when I was doing the centrefold cards. The other stamp sets are Confetti and Contempo Christmas.
Cardstock is Soft Suede, Cherry Cobbler and Whisper White.
Inks are Soft Suede, Early Espresso ( used on the antlers).
Embellishment is Stampin’Glitter Fine Galaxy.
Thanks for having a look and if I don’t get back on here again before Christmas I’d like to wish everyone and their families a Safe and Happy Festive Season and all the very best life can bring for 2012!
Merry Christmas Everyone!!!!
I had to wait until today to post this card as I did not want my best stamping buddy seeing her very special occasion birthday card before her big day!!!!! So here it is Happy birthday Heather! I’ll give you the hard copy when I get to see you to celebrate your day!
One of my downline had the idea of layering the larger flower when we did the centrefold class – thanks Margaret it looks fabulous!

I’m going to be without computer access so have scheduled my posts to pop up ahead of time – love technology (most of the time!) Here is a different version of the centrefold card. This one creates a more compact version that will fit into a smaller size envelope than its taller cousin.
Stamps – Dasher, Easy Events,Heard from the Heart
Ink – Soft Suede, Early Espresso, Old Olive
Card – Riding Hood Red, Old Olive, Whisper White
Accessories – Riding Hood Red taffeta ribbon, 2 way glue pen, Fine Galaxy Stampin’Glitter
Be back soon with another post!
Here is another centrefold card I whipped up after my class to give to one of my midwifery buddies whose birthday is coming up very soon.
Stamps – Simply Soft, It’s Your Day, Confetti
Card – Pool Party, Lucky Limeade, Island Indigo
Ink – Island indigo, Lucky Limeade, Black Staz-On
Accessories – Pool Party ruffled ribbon, Dotted Scallop Ribbon border punch, blender pen
To try something new on this card I cut down the length of the Island Indigo punched ribbon border strip and layered it behind the Lucky Limeade ribbon punch strip. I think it worked out quite nicely!
Thanks for looking!
