I am still busy sorting everything that I brought home from Convention. I still haven’t had time to study each of my lovely team swaps plus my general swaps yet. Well Friday is stamping day so I will make it a priority for then if I don’t get a chance before then.
Just a quick post – first to let you know 2014 Australian Convention is in Melbourne May 22 – 24.
And to add a pic of me with Shelli CEO of Stampin,Up! taken after the end of a terrific 4 days here in Brisbane. If you ever have the chance to attend – make it a priority, you will have so much fun, make so many friends and have a wonderful, wonderful time.
Off to the airport for the flight home to my very understanding husband and family.
My apologies for not getting on here yesterday. If you have ever been to a Stampin’Up! Convention you will know just how busy it can be – not just all the great happenings at convention but all the socialising as you catch up with your team of demos and demos from interstate that you have not seen since last convention.
We are having a fabulous time and seeing wonderful presentations and creative ideas. I’ve played with My Digital Studio and I have to say I am hooked!!!! Love what you can create and it is all so much easier than I thought it would be! Go and try it with the free 30 day download available in my online shop.
Lots of all attendee give aways!!!! Three so far PLUS the 2014 annual catalogue!!! LOVE IT!!!! Just as well I have that half empty suitcase to pack it all into. Typing this over a quick breakfast before heading off for another day of fun and creativity. Sorry there are no photos to show just yet – will try and upload tonight.
Awards night and Afterparty last night – soooooo much fun. the new concept of the after party was terrific. Great band – we all danced and danced, a photo booth ( that was hilarious! ) and loads of yummy sweet desserts to nibble on.
Will try very hard to get back on here tonight……..
What a fabulous day and convention hasn’t even officially started! Leadership session was great this afternoon but the highlight was Managers Reception tonight. It was wonderful to catch up with so many demonstrator friends plus my terrific downlines. Of course my first photo has to be of Shelli! How good is the Brisbane Eye in the background.
Here is our place setting with the floral arrangement on each table.
One last photo. Me!
Tomorrow is the big day! I’m off to Brisbane, Queensland for the 2013 Australian Stampin’Up! Convention. My team and I have been planning our trip up there since last years Convention in Canberra. And after all our planning tomorrow is the day!!!!!! There are 40 members of my Inksationals team making the journey. This year is a special event as Stampin’Up! is celebrating 25 years in business – their Silver Anniversary!
I have spent ages making team and general swaps. I started planning my team swaps at the start of the year and have been making them since March. I got everything finished last night, what a great feeling to have them all completed. Here are some photos of them en mass before I packed them into my half empty suitcase. ( A demonstrator goes with a case that is big and empty so as to fit in all the purchases that she will make in Memento Mall at Convention!!!!)
These are my team swap. I loved creating my swaps with Stampin’Up! Designer fabrics.
I’ll try and find time to update my blog while I am in Brisbane. Tomorrow night is Managers Reception for all Demonstrators who are Manager or above. It is a special event to share time with Stampin’Up! CEO Shelli Gardner and is a highlight of Convention. I’ll tell you all about tomorrow night!
