Monday is my craft day normally. This week I had a day off and went to be a llama farmer for the day. Based out in Woodend, the Hanging Rock Llama Trekking Farm takes participants on a leisurely 5km walk with you leading your llama. Here I am with Ventress, my llama for the day.
I went with my son and his wife, her Mum and Dad and my hubby. The day out was a Mothers’ Day gift from my son and wife to their Mums. We all had a wonderful day enjoying the company of our llamas, each other and the wonderful Australian bush around Hanging Rock.
Tuesday is my newsletter day ( if you’d like to receive my weekly email filled with inspiration sign up in the box above right ) and having had a busy weekend cutting card kits, I hadn’t crafted. So Monday night meant a quick craft session to create a card for my newsletter. Here is what I came up with.
How cute is this stamp? The Badger Besties Stamp set has three cute badger images plus four sentiment stamps. This was an easy card to create seeing as I had limited time. The badger was coloured in using Smoky Slate Stampin’Blends. The dies are from Hippo & Friends and Scalloped Contour dies.
A vertical Happy Birthday greeting is a really useful item to have in your inventory. This one is found in the Celebrate with Flowers stamp set. I off set the greeting by adding it to the inner card panel by creating an asymmetrical fold in a standard A5 card. Once stamped out the greeting was trimmed and the end detail added using the Treasured Tags Pick a Punch.
So I achieved a terrific day out plus some crafting on Monday! Made my Tuesday a lot easier as I could get straight in to writing my weekly newsletter.
If you get the chance go walk a llama for a very relaxing and peaceful time.
Happy Stamping!
