Christmas Bauble Cards – No. 2

It has taken me awhile to get back on the computer and show you some more Christmas Bauble cards coloured with Stampin’Up! Blendabilities pens.  I went with a non traditional colour scheme with both of these. I rather like them!

The background stamps used were the background stamp I Love Lace on the Rich Razzleberry card and on the Pumpkin Pie card I used the tree branch stamp from the Holiday catalogue set Beauty of the Season.

I love my Gorgeous Grunge stamp set for creating spatter backgrounds!

Thanks for looking.

Christmas Bauble Cards – No 1

Time sure gets away from me sometimes especially when I am on holidays! I reckon it is alright to start showing off some of the
Christmas cards I have made. These Christmas Bauble cards are from a series I made for my display poster used at the past few papercrafting shows I have taken part in. I’ll show you a couple each post.

This stamp is so lovely to use with the Blendabilities pens. I had a wonderful time colouring these cards. Here is the first one of my cards.

Do you like the silver “sprigs”? They are from untwirling the silver bakers twine. And here is the second card for this post.

Like I said you can have so much fun colouring this stamp! The sparkle does not show up well in this pic but the white areas have been glossed over with dazzling details glitter glue. The pic below shows the sparkle a bit better.
You should come back again soon and see my other colour options!

Giggle Greetings Cards and Blendabilities.

I have had this stamp set – Giggle Greetings 131062, for quite awhile – well before Blendabilities came along and I’d always put off using the set as was unsure on how to colour them using markers only. Well that is no longer a problem now that I have Stampin’Up! Blendabilities markers! Colouring is breeze and so much fun! These cards are so much fun to give and always get a chuckle from the recipient!

The clean and simple matts make the stamped image the card feature and mean a full card set can be created in no time at all.
And here are some alternative colours that I tried out when I was running a Blendabilities class last weekend.
I quite like the dog coloured using Smoky Slate pens. the bowl is coloured using Night of Navy pens.

Thanks for looking!

Bloom with Hope Sympathy Card

A sympathy card is something one never wants to keep on hand but unfortunately they are a necessity. I recently required one for one of dear friends who had lost her father and this is what I made.

If you are enjoying the new Blendabilities pens than this stamp set – Bloom with Hope will become one of your favourites as it has 5 images that can be coloured and blended with your Blendabilities. It is an hostess set so you will receive it for free if you make a $300 plus order or host a workshop. Email me if you would like to know more on how to get your hands on this lovely stamp set.

I coloured the flower using the Pumpkin Pie set of pens and the Daffodil Delight set for the flower centre. To make the flower “pop” more I outlined it with my Smoky Slate marker pen.

Card – Naturals White, Basic Black, Old Olive, Whisper White

Stamps – Bloom with Hope133949

Ink – Memento Black

Extras – Blendabilities in Pumpkin Pie,  Daffodil Delight and Old Olive, Smoky slate Stampn’Write marker, Decorative dots embossing folder, Modern Label punch

I like my card, simple and understated, just right for a sad occasion.

Until next time,
