We will be trading these on Friday night at our Team dinner. Here is a sneak peek of my ATC. I have made 30 of them and I am excited to see what ATC’s I will receive in return.
My pillow gifts are from a sample that my downline Simone Bartrum created for our stand display at Paperific a couple of months ago. I loved the sample as soon as I saw it and decided yes my pillow gifts for On Stage are sorted!
The cute little boxes are Clear Tiny Treat Boxes 141699 page 176 in the Annual Catalogue. They are easily missed in the catalogue but look how cute they are! Inside are eight Christmas gift tags made from Cherry Cobbler card.
The pretty paper used comes from a Designer Series Speciality Paper pack in the Annual catalogue – “This Christmas” 141628. Aren’t the tags so sweet? The tag size folded is 5x5cm. 10×5 unfolded.
The Layering Square and Layering Circle Framelits were used to cut out the paper and silver foil pieces. The 1 3/8 circle punch created the stamped sentiment piece. The stamps are from Holly Jolly Greetings 139879 page 34 Annual Catalogue. Ink is Black Memento and Smoky Slate on Very Vanilla card.
To create a pop, the silver foil sentiment piece is raised with Stampin’Dimensionals.
Punch a hole for the tag strings with the 1/8 inch hand held punch and thread through Cherry Cobbler and Garden Green Bakers Twine from the Trio pack 141999 in the Holiday catalogue.
I hope my roomies love their cute pillow gifts!
Pinterest came to the rescue again and gave me some inspiration when I did a search for cards made using You’re Sublime. This card by Allison Okamitsu was my favourite so I switched around the background and DSPstamp and CASE’d my version of Allison’s card.
For the background I used the photopolymer stamp set “Chalk Lines” 135005. Because it is a clear stamp set it is so easy to line up the lines and get a great image happening. No need for a stamp positioner! I inked the stamp with Pacific Point ink and stamped the first image then restamped without reinking to get the lighter image. My folded card base is thick Whisper White cardstock.
The crab was stamped in Versafine ink then coloured in with Real Red marker and then a second image was stamped on Real Red card and the body cut out and adhered to the original image with Dimensionals. Always make sure to add a rim of colour to any areas underneath as there is nothing worse than seeing a bit of white card showing out underneath the raised image section.
Some burlap ribbon and a piece of torn Go Wild DSP paperstack and my swap was done!
I am sharing an apartment with three of my great Stampin’Up! friends and we have all made pillow gifts for each other. I used some inspiration from Sam Hammond Donald for my gifts. I love Pinterest and I have saved so many ideas and it is great to put some of those saves to good use! You can see Samantha’s version here.
I had to mix up my version a bit as some the products used in Sam’s creation have retired. Basically it is the same, I’ve rejigged the sentiment, the tag topper punch and the patterned papers. So here is my version of Sam’s tag box using the Perpetual Calendar stamp Set.
Inside the box are 10 tags stamped using Brights ink colours and the various background stamps from Perpetual Calendar 137167.
And here are a few of the tags closeup. The sentiments come from the set Honeycomb Hello 134075.
So we fly up to the Gold Coast tomorrow and in the evening I have an invitation to the Centre Stage event which is for Silver Elite and above demonstrators. We have business training followed by a delicious three course dinner. A great day to look forward to!
Pop back and see what my roomies come up with for their pillow gifts!
