It’s time to start making Christmas cards! You say it to yourself every year. I am going to get my Christmas cards done early next year. December arrives and a mad rush happens to get them made and in the post. Not this year! I am here and now telling you to get a wriggle on and get started.
Each week I am making one or two cards to share in my weekly newsletter to my customers. I have a few up my sleeve already so if you want to see them all then sign up for my newsletter, especially if you live in Australia. Sign up box is on this page.
I love this card! It will definitely be going to someone special on my card list. The card that inspired this version was posted on the Stampin’ Up! blog and the trees were die cut in pastel colours to match the products in the Whimsy & Wonder Suite. I chose a traditional colour palette for my version of the card. the trees are cut from Shaded Spruce and Just Jade card.
Look at the detail on this card! The trees were die cut using the coordinating die from the Whimsical Trees bundle. Once I had the die cut trees I ran them through my Stampin’ Cut & Emboss machine and embossed them using the Tasteful Textile embossing folder.
The silver garland was die cut from the free Sale-a-bration item Be Dazzling papers. Make a $90 Aust Stampin’ Up! order during Sale-a-bration and you can select these papers as your free gift. The red foil stars and ornaments are dies in the same die set. A bonus of this set is the dies are a multiple of images in the one die! So cut out five stars or eight ornaments in one go. Time saver!
So start making your wish list of Christmas stamps and dies from the Mini and Annual catalogues, get your order in a and be prepared to make a start on your 2021 Christmas cards. Once you have your list go shopping by clicking here.
Also remember to shop in multiples of $90 so you don’t miss out on getting your Sale-a-bration free products.
